On the 13th of October 2018 Hospice’s will be celebrating WH&PC day. According to the definition on www.thewhpca.org ‘World Hospice and Palliative Care Day is a unified day of action to celebrate and support hospice and palliative care around the world.’
Howick Hospice will be celebrating this year with two events taking place on the 13th of October 2018.
Nicci Muscat will be Hosting 4 Howick Hospice at her annual Zumbathon taking place at Howick High School in the Dave Mayo Center from 9am -11am. R50 will get you in to this dance-a-thon and proceeds will be donated to Howick Hospice.
Our second event will be hosted by Sharon Butler at St Ives, this ladies charity breakfast promises to be a day of inspiration with Key note speaker Talita van der Heever who will share her life experiences of being sexually abused and how she escaped human trafficking. There will be an English breakfast served as well as loads of fantastic prizes,goodie bags and an auction to end the day off. The event starts at 8:30am at cost of R250.00 per person.
